"Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better." - Albert Einstein
Greetings, I am Amanda Anderson—a multi-faceted individual with a profound connection to the natural world. I wear many hats, serving as an author, co-pastor, mother, wife, nana, herbalist, nature enthusiast, and homeschooling mom. My life's purpose revolves around instilling in the next generation a deep appreciation, enjoyment, and reverence for the magnificent creation surrounding us. I firmly believe that nature, when harnessed correctly, can be a potent educational tool, aligning with the intentions of God.
My journey as an herbalist began in 2019, sparked by a divine calling to comprehend the intricacies of God's creations. Over time, this passion gave birth to my business, Red Clover Essentials. I craft exquisite herbal salves, create custom tea blends, fashion herbal sugar scrubs, and lead adult herbal camps during the summer and spring seasons. However, my genuine aspiration extends beyond personal practice. I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge with individuals of all ages, fostering an understanding of the wonders of nature.
My educational background also includes training in Early Childhood Development through North Georgia Technical College. Nonetheless, it is the invaluable experience of raising six children that has equipped me with the most profound insights into how children learn and flourish.
My role as a homeschooling mother, actively engaged in nurturing my two youngest sons, was the catalyst for the birth of Little Seedlings Nature School. Through this endeavor, I personally witnessed the profound impact of nature on children, particularly those with ADHD. Nature provides an oasis of tranquility, a space conducive to optimal learning, and a stark contrast to the constraints of traditional education. I firmly reject the notion of learning disabilities in children and believe that societal labels often blind us to their true potential. My burning passion as a homeschooling mother is to guide children into a world where wonder, self-awareness, and self-confidence are nurtured through their exploration of the natural world.
